Someone....

decided to go for a midnight swim

since *I* was in the house at that proper hour for treats ...

sadly I was not there to film what must have been incredibily hilarious

Ollie:  "shut up!"

note from That Woman:  So, I'm calling him and calling him.  Finally I see his head a the backdoor; I open the door (seeing as how it's still 80 degrees at midnight the a/c was on)  I open the door and he's just sitting there, so I open the screen (ours has a cat door in it that's open but he still hadn't moved)... I go to pet him as he looked up and meowed at me, that's when I felt that he was wet.  And not just just damp, but *I just feel into someone's pool* sopping, dripping wet!

I laughed all the way into the bathroom where I carried him (so now we are both sopping) and got him mostly dried off.  He had the decency not to get on the bed till he was good and dry.  Poor thing, I felt so bad  for him.

Carpet Cleaning Day

So after many, many moons of kids, teens, and now just me & the cat clan...
A friend gifted me a carpet cleaning for my living room & hall area.

The really GREAT news is that I am apparently on the committee to free all the lizards that have been entrapped in my house for who knows how long!

I am not kitten you when I say that so far I have found THREE 7 inchers (still living ) right UNDER my own rocking chair!

When I went to move another chair that is next to my oriental desk, under Ms. Stella's woobie ON TOP OF THE CHAIR was a darling little 6incher all curled up.  I must admit that when I gently cupped my hands around him he seemed rather perturbed at me.  After all, it is rather dusk and only now that it's cooled off a bit am I ready to get all this furniture moved out of the living room so that at 9am they can really get this carpet clean!  I would love to have it ripped out and have tile or fake wood put in but it's not my house after all.

So, I will let you know if and when I find more of The Ozman's toys lounging around.  The Ozman himself is unavailable for comment & won't be going outside till tomorrow morning when they show up.

Here's the Ozman now fleeing for his life now that the giant noisy is over.

I can only guess he's thinking 'what in the hell-o kitty is she thinkin puttin all my stuffs out here?'

or

'HEY!  COOL, now I don't gotta hide alla my lizardos in da house cos all this stuff is outside the house'

Ms. Scrapps is next to leave the sealed safe room

Ollie: "I bet I can haz lotta lizardos hidin in all dis stuff out here and them lizardos won't even know it when she takes 'em all back inside' (Smedley laugh)

Miss Jack Miss Jack Miss Jack... (that's how I call her; she didn't wanna come out)

Ms. Stella checks out the new area rug.  She likes it, in fact, between her & Ollie that one corner is never vacant!

almost back to normal.  You can see the styro blocks under the furniture to prevent rust

something else for the Ozman to play with

Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday weekend!

(It's Labor Day here in the States and we get to celebrate work by playing all day)

Kitties!

oh sorry; didn't mean to yellz.

I was so excited tonight though.

That Woman came home from the cat fudz store and when she pulled in the garage she saw this:

that white thing on the left is the clothes washer...

at night sometimes That Woman leans out the dutch door from the kitchen & puts the empty cat fudz cans on it. In the mornings the cans would be alla over the floor; well now we know someone  has been lickin' them clean!

That Woman left the headlights on so he wouldn't move and she could get this better picture:

he's so cute! One thing though I'm not  crazy about is him sittin on my chair out in the garage.  I know cuz I seen him the other night & That Woman was all; "WHAT?" and I was all "You human don't haz alla conez & rodz that we got so don't expect me to explain alla things you can't even see!"

Don't mind the Ornj Mutant.  He is always following me up on the counter and right here he's getting ready to demonstrate his OllieFlop.  It's his signature move. He's quite proud.

We went out back and were wandering around when we happened upon this lovely specimen!

Since it was so up high I can not show you how huge it was but that woman has some stick with numbers on it and she said it was seven inches from tip to tip.  The chunk outta his wing is from a bird; not from any of us....  Dang!

I bet he's juicy too.

Well, that's our show for this evening.

Thanks for watchin!

Dearest Abby

We will never forget you. Codspeed dearest minx... until we meet again.

Table Manners Tuesday

The line forms early here for dinner.   Note how the Ornj Mutant is apparently so famished he can't even maintain a sitting position...

(sorry it's dark; I was holding three dishes of cat food & trying to take a photo at the same time)

Monday musings

Pile on the far left is from Miss Jack & Scrappie combined.  Pile on the right is from *Ms. Stella

this is about one minute of good brushing.

*one minute is a long time when holding struggling cat

(even if she is purring and likes the end result)

below is same time of one minute brushing of Ornj Mutant

All 14 lbs of him loving every minute & purring like a mad man

After brushing a bit of fresh air

ppppessssss:

That Woman wanted ta say something.  She went on and on about the whole 'isn't Feedly just great?' and 'I really like being able to read blogs on my smarter-than-the-human phone'.  blah blah blah.  BUT... And you know when there's a BUT that it's time for bbkittehs to leave the room.

Here's how it went:

"Ms. Stella, what really gets my knickers in a wad , is when we are looking at the blogs on Feedly and visitatin we can't just jump to comments right then!  If they (Feedly)can put all them damn links at the bottom for sharing, tweeting and every flippin other cutesy icon button thing how come they can't put one that would link DIRECTLY TO THE COMMENTS! Huh?  Huh?  I ask you, is it too much to ask?   And you know what else Ms. Stellie?  I also heard that reader is coming back, and I was all WTH?"

About here is where I'll edit out what she said for the next 10 minutes - ad nauseum... with  as many words that seem to come flying right outta her mouth these days aren't fit to print.  really.

When she took a breath, I stuffed a biscuit in her gob & got her to calm down for second.  She then did go onto lament (and I'm with her on this one kitties) Feedly requires that you download them so that means while she's at her day sitting-on-her-bum place...working...and could also be transcribing  my pithy, timeless comments... she can't ... that computer won't allow her to download anything... so while she's on her break at work (note how I said she'd be doing that on her break...)  *pawsnickers*  it's too hard for her to use her 'smarter-than-the-human' phone cos there's no 'keys' to tappity tap on.  And let's face it, while 'auto correct' can be fun at times, mostly it's just a royal pain in the A*glands!  Am I right???

I must take all her complaints and sadly pass them along here so you will all know why she isn't commenting on blogs they way we used to.  One thing that does make it easier is when there are comments left on my blog I can jump right over to that kitties blog and that seems simple enough.  But I read a lot more blogs and when I'm tellin her what to type she's getting all flustered and sweaty. *well, that sweaty part seems to happen at all different times of the day and night now but that's a tale for another day.

So now ya know; I'm not ignoring y'all and hopefully soon we'll get our reading/commenting schedule back on track.

xoxo

IN CASE YOU THOUGHT

I had fallen off the face of the earth fear not! I have been monitoring my blog posts from the comfort of the Dragon chair;  as befits my status as Queen hissing grumpy one don't you think?

I like this wooden throne; the only swords you will find are those attached to the paws of doom and lets face it; they are far more deadly than that other silly chair on the TV.

COD I'm cute!

That's right useless one;  maintain that position down there away from my field of vision.  If you see the Ornj Mutant make sure he's come back with my Niptini... extra mouse eyeballs makes it extra dirty; I expect there to be at least three skewered on that little plastic sword!

See my footie there?  Since I had a toe removed from the other paw I'm relegated to 'flippin the four' from my right paw. It's ok but somehow it just doesn't have the same zing and ebil menace as the 'left'.

Hope you are enjoying your Sunday easy from your own favorite chair.

I Don't Care

Thank you for having all this fresh smelling clean laundry so I can take my bath and get all this dirt off I rolled in out in the garden.

You're the best mom.

Sunday snoozer

I'm convinced that ever since Ollie had the URI from the pound,  he prefers too snooze sitting up.
