Don't usually post two in one day but wanted to share something.  Scarlett & Mellie won the bidding for the CatNip quilt in an auction a couple weeks ago.  Their mum Natalie posted an adorable short video of Mellie being adorable & loving it very much.  To see go HERE

Ahhhhh Sunday was lovely,

we were all out in the backyard enjoying the cool air

That Woman was chattering away on the tiny rectangle to... who cares.

Anyway;

She stopped and started pointing the blasted thing at me giving me the 'aw aren't you sooo cuuutte' baby voice 

I hate that 

Don't you guys agree?  These humans get all slobbery & start talking like babies! 

so I patently ignore her hoping she'll get the message... 

 but no... 

I turn around to have her right up in my grille

DUDE!

ManCat Monday Thankfulness

Well, ok, so you busted me.  We don't have any Mancats at the moment however, we want to share our thankfulness to one ManCat mom in particular today. 

Miss Rosemary, she is Mr. Pierro & Miles mum. She made me this quilted treasure! Isn't it cute!  I love all the work she put into it.  I must tell you all not to worry; even though it's hanging on the back part of the stove (I think they call it the back splash) since we don't cook it's perfectly safe there.  (You can tell by how clean the stove top is right?

See the darling lace she sewed in?  I LOVE it! 

In case you're wondering:  Yes, I make art quilts.  Yes, I've given lots away as gifts.  Yes, I  have lots of quilt artist friends and I can count on one hand the number who have made me something specifically as a gift.  And I count Miss Rosemary as one of these. 

Thank you ma'am! I love it.  I did write on the back your name, the year you gave it and why it was given in fabric safe ink.  You must remember to sign your work girl!

Since That Woman hasn't seen fit to find time to take pictures of ME, I have allowed her to post this photo I stoled from Cheezburger.  Ms. 'Captian Obvious' wondered if they named the kit 'Spot'?  *sigh*

 That Woman here; SO wish I coulda got the shot of what happened right after this!  I was editing the photos when I heard a crash & saw floofed cats flying off in all directions!  Apparently, they were all buzzin on the nip when someone got too close to the metal tree dangly thing.  

Took them all at least 20 minutes to set paw back in the living room!  

MOLMOLMOL!  

This CatNip Quilt is going out to Scarlett & Mellie who won it in the auction for Sam, Andie & Shelley's family.

Today we'll have an interior design lesson

Here I am being  'Arty'

Step one: 

Find the sunny window

Step two:

Locate the hired help

Step three: 

go in the cubby and find the master plans

Step four:

Attempt to conceal laughter at humans face for step five

Step five:

remind the hired help that 'Shabby Chic' is totally IN

  When the breeze blows in thru the window; the billowy shears were blocking it;  

problem solved!
