Friday Flying Feline Follies!

In which we find our intrepid Ms. Stella;  "Queen and High Ruler of All the Kingdoms, Her Worshipfulness and Ever The Most Awesome *breath* and Fearless Flyer of All Timez who can Still do a quadruple back flip!"  ("very good elliott, you may be seated - not too close mind!"   Elliott: "Oh Thank You Ms Stella!" ) 

"I shall endeavor to teach each of you mutants some proper flying skillz.  This should help keep the noise down whilst I take my well earned naps.  I've had quite enough of crashes and yelling by That Woman!  You boyz pay attention!" 

(so i was all like...'YA I wanna buy the gold fishes, whaddaya tink I said?   and den he was all like... )

Ms. Stella: "OLLIE! R U Paying ATTENTION?"

'Wha?  Oh,  Yes Sir-Ma'am!  Sorry Ma'am!'

MS: "I think this is gonna be a long afternooon." 

Now, I've asked That Woman to help out today by waving around that silly stick and with flippy bits to help get you into the air! 

Here we go...

first, you never, ever, ever take your eyes offa dat ting!  *oh; and always make sure the lighting is just right too so the photo shows off your glorious red furred ear*

 "Then just as That Woman flings the thing make sure The Gurl isn't ready on the camera so you get a perfect blown shot like this... 

now you can spend the next few minutes resting (and laffing) whilst they argue over whose fault it was-truly, it doesn't get more purrrfect than that!. 

"Now,  it's your turn mutants... Elliot, you go first"

'eyes on the prize...eyes on the prize... and                         )

"PERFECT!  That was great Eli! Now take 5 whilst the yelling starts again..."  

"Ollie!  OLLIE!  Dude, You're up.. "

"Oh, ya, I'm up... now wha?  o...k...  ummmm... eyes on the side... eyes on the side... and                         )

"EXCELLENT OLLIE!  I didn't think your elevator went alla way to the top but you pulled it off!  ConCats!"

Ollie: "I don't know what you meanz 'stealin'? I wentz over dere to the grass & they wuz juss layin around so I grabbed 'em and asked all around brought them in da house for safe keepin. That's just bein' a spponsible Mancat.  It's in my training.. Chapter 7, paragraph 3, sub paragraph H: under the big writing that sayz

(the post might be a tiny bit long but it is SO WORTH IT!)

It's about a looooong ornj mutant cat

name of Ollie

Y'all know the type

They give you this look 

(notice how it's fuzzy? that's cos he won't be still-you think SHE would get it?) 

But NO! Alla humans loose their right minds and go 

AWWWWWWwww! 

BUT we REAL cats know the truth!

Hidden behind that kitteh face

Those oh-so-goofy innocent eyes lurks

the heart of a demon!

YES IT DOES! 

That Woman: Stella, you do have a flair for exaggeration

NO I DON'T!

This one delights in terrorizing only me the house!  

Today is a story of VENGEANCE! 

PAYBACK!!

The sweet sound of REVENGE! 

(and MUCH MOL'ing! and sniggering) 

OOOOOhhh yes, let me tell you. 

FIRST The mutant was lured to the not so  hidden Valerian packet on top of the DVD standy thing

That Woman: um Ms. Stella, why don't you share with everyone why there is a piece of glass in front of this lovely piece of furniture?? NO? Cat got your tongue?  It's a pee-screen!    

Ms. Stella: THAT is NOT the POINT of this STORY!

The movie thing about 4 ft high.  And you can see it's got crap stuff all over the top but does that deter the Flying Menace?  NO!  He's like 47feet long of ornj and he can land on 1inches of space! 

(for the record, NO I'm not jealous, I can do complete back flip somersaults even at my old crotchety age!)

Anyways

What happened next is rather a mystery

Some say he jumped

Some say he was pushed

Some say he was cajoled by other cats who should know better

What we do know is this

A few hours after The Gurl came out of her teenage i've-been-out-allnight coma... She heard pitiful cries.  She looked  

and looked 

and found us, and Miss Jenga all secure.  She even found the other ornj mutant rags.. but she kept hearing pitiful mewling noises that were growing in desperation

Finally, she located the source of the distress

 Ollie:  "Can you stop MOL'ING and just get mom?!"

Chance

The goon had apparently jumped from the dvd stand to the top of the bookcase, misjudged the top and went flying right over the backside.  Everything on the top was still in place!  I gave his performance a solid 10!  

 (Now I'm NOT saying we tole him to try it, but after we sorta mentioned there might be was mouses back there he went all on his own!)

The Gurl had to perform the rescue.  

The bookcase is over 6ft tall, you saw alla crap it has lots of stuff on it.  It had to be completely emptied in order to move it.

(that The Gurl left it all for That Woman to put back too ! MOL! This story just get's better n'better!)

Softly Sunday

That Woman wanted me to say Thank You to alla you who left comments and sent her emails on her Cat in The Hat tribute. 

It is a picture of a journal quilt she made back in 07 I think.  Each month the artist was to create an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of work. It had to be three layers of fabric, held together by stitching.  That Woman further embellished with the hat with wire words.  It is That Woman's own design.   At the end of the year you chose 8 of your favorite and they got to travel in an exhibit around the planets.  (Later the curator published a wonderful book and one of That Woman's pieces was selected to be in it!)

She created the Dr. Seuss one during  the month of Sept. when The Gurl who was a wee thing at the time, was returning to school. She was feeling all mawkish (Oh, cos that never happens anymore!) and realized how much she missed reading the beloved Dr. Seuss books.  Their favorite to this day remains 'Fox in Socks'.  It's a tongue twister book and each of them falls over laughing at each other when they get carried away.  Even as The Gurl will be 19 on the 28th of this month, and That Woman will reach a milestone in June they are silly and carry on sniggering when someone mentions 'poodle eating noodles'.  You can see from the photo above  how I act when they get the giggles.  Honestly, you'd think they would have more decorum.
