My human and I watched the video together, and it made me purr to see Ollie eating! I'm so happy that he is improving. Sending lots more purrs his way.
Hi Stacy, it's Carolyn, the mum, here! I've been following Ollie's story since I first saw the post on facebook! I cannot tell you how happy I am that he's doing so much better. I have this indescribable need to hug my boy (who is nowhere to be seen!). You've had a really rough time (both of you). Hoping things just get better and better for the little guy! xox
Such a relief! I did the same things for Tillie (adding water and oil) and I cried too when she was eating again and when she finally went to use the potty, well it was 'happy' poop ( I did have to use some vegetable oil to get things moving again for her) for me !
What happened to him anyway?! It's just people. We are all born with predispositions to certain illnesses... some of us have lung issues....
Ollie darling Me and mommy both are over the moon about you eating like that. I can't wait for you to get to the Vet and see what they have to say. Thank heavens for the loan of the car. xoxoxoxo
Susan and I watched and cheered for Ollie eating! Then I had to replay for Steve :) Glad there is improvement, such a good sign. Love and hugs and purrs.
He's doing very well for how he was! Did he injure his front paw? Water in food is good even if they aren't feeling unwell! And when the food is a soft pate they really have no need to bite because it would be like biting pudding. Glad to see him!
So thrilled to see Ollie enjoying his food like that--what a good boy he is! I hope he gets a great report at the vet tomorrow--we are still purring and purring and purraying XOXOXOX
I am so happy to see dear Ollie eating. I am purring my biggest purrs for him. Mum has tried purring for him too but isn't very good at it, so sends him kisses instead, and she sends hugs to you.

Must be our old laptop, that the video kept freezing after a second or two. But we're glad he's eating a bit and continue to send purrs and purrayers.

ReplyDeleteWe loves to hear the sound of lapping! Lapping is easier than chewing, so it's good that you are making it all soupy for him!
