Totally OT!

Here is who has come to live with us for awhile. His name is Aspen. He is a Snowleopard Bengal. A bit ago as many of you know (all my fiend friends from Fablo's blog); I went barking mad and decided to become a foster mother for the Bengal Rescue Society. After much encouragement from Lorraine; I decided I could do this.

I wish you could see his fur in real life; it's silver (literally shiny like tiny silver threads throughout) He is gorgeous and loving as all get out. He will head butt you so hard and meow and purr and chirp the entire time you are with him. He's just met us; but you'd think we'd had him since he was a baby. He's the most wondeful animal! He came with two beds and his own blankie. Anyone want to take him to their forever home???

  5. How could someone give up such a beautiful boy. I keep looking at his photos, and I think I am in love.
Pity Tysie won't let another cat in the house. Oh, and the little matter of being in another country

  6. His story isn't awful; he was purchased as a kitten (from a cat show breeder) by a gentleman; that gentleman then later purchased two more; the other two bonded deeply with each other; When the gentleman had to move back to Canada; he couldn't take his beloveds with him; he and his friend found a wonderful home for the pair so the gentleman's friend took Aspen; he was with him for 10 months and was fine; however the gentleman found a lady; and sadly she is highly allergic; so he had to give Aspen up. He didn't want to abandon Aspen the to the humane society but found the Bengal rescue instead; and I had just signed up; so there you have it. Good story all 'round.

  9. He is such a handsome boy!

It's nice to know that there are some foster Bengals that were treated well, are well adjusted, but simply had to be surrendered due to circumstances having nothing to do with behavior. :)
